Hadley is 18 months!

Hadley turned 18 months on December 15th!  Here are a few updates:

1. Hadley is usually the happiest, most content, consistently smiling baby you can imagine. He laughs, hugs, smiles, gives kisses, and is the definition of sweet...unless he does not get his way.
2. In the rare occasion that he is determined to get something (like a cheese stick when we are out of cheese sticks) and we cannot distract him or appease him in any way, sweet boy Hadley turns into temper-tantrum wild child.
3. He loves his Mamma and does not like for me to be out of sight.
4. His favorite toys: trucks, cars, his new kitchen, anything that Brendan is playing with
5: His favorite foods: cheese sticks, Goldfish, animal crackers, eggs, avocado, waffles, yogurt, M&Ms
6. He looks up to his older brother Brendan and always wants to be around him.  Even when Brendan is in time-out for hurting Hadley, Hadley wants to sit next to him on the step.
7. He weighed in at 24 lbs. (25th percentile) and 33 inches (75th percentile).
8. He loves all kids, but especially girls (nice). See below for a picture of him with his girlfriend, Addison.
9. He is as tough as nails and rarely cries. He can get knocked down, sat on, scratched, etc. and will barely even pause from playing.
10. He is talking more and more each day!  He is to the point where he will repeat mostly anything you ask him to say, and he is saying much more on his own. He can clearly say most of the foods that he likes, so that is coming in handy!
11. The boy has no fear! He will try anything he sees his brother do, and can usually do it surprisingly well.  He will also jump from any height and climb up anything, which stresses out his mamma.
12. He loves to care for others. If someone is crying, he will go to him and pat his back or take his hand. If a friend drops her sippy cup, he will go get it and bring it to her. He watches out for his little friends and it is adorable to watch.
13. Despite the truth of #12, Brendan has nick-named him "The Biter", for reasons you can easily assume.

Hadley, we are so blessed to have you in our lives. You bring a unique, sweet spirit into our home that would be impossible without you. We love your sense of adventure, your unconditional love for Brendan, your sweet sounds, hugs, and kisses, your compassion towards your little friends, and your obvious love for life. We learn a great deal from you!
