Airport Field Trip

Our preschool class takes a field trip each month. In January we went to the Dekalb Airport and it was soooo fun! The kids were able to view planes, sit in them, and even pretend to drive one.

SIDE NOTE: Compare these picture to the post about trains... I GOT MY NEW CAMERA!!! YAY!!!

Jack and Brendan are big buddies. It was so cute to see them walking around holding hands amidst all the huge planes!

Cool shot.

Did you know that touching a plane's wing could be this exciting?

Check it out!

So incredibly giddy... The kids loves, loves, loves planes.

Cuteness

Checking out the newest technology in planes. Instead of tons of buttons and controls, this one just had a flat touch-screen. Whoa.

Ready for take-off!

We ended the morning at the airport playground. It is a great playground plus you get to hear/see planes landing the entire time you play.

Nice camera! The excitement for planes doesn't end. This post reminded me when Mike went on a field trip to the airport as a Grad Student and got to explore a plane. He was pretty giddy as well! Not a lot changes...
