Happy Father's Day!
My parents were in town for Father's Day weekend, so Dan and I both had time to get dressed for church and take a picture! I think we have about 300 pics of us while dating and about 5 since we were married. Here, I was 12 weeks pregnant! That seems like a very long time ago. Now I have 10 weeks left.
Here are some of our favorite things about Daddy (from Brendan and Hadley):
1. He will play good-guy/bad-guy, a game Mommy refuses to play.
2. He lets us jump on him (again, something Mom refuses).
3. He knows how to pitch a baseball (guess what, Mom doesn't).
4. He lets us listen to rock music in the car and teaches us his favorite songs while he does the dishes. We run around singing with spoons as microphones.
5. He is a dragon-fighter (more to come in a later post).
6. He works super hard to support our family and is a great example to us of dedication, hard work, and integrity.
7. He teaches and exemplifies what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
WE LOVE YOU, DADDY!

Notice the look of pride on Brendan's face and the look of confusion on Hadley's. This is a picture of Brendan at sports camp. I think Hadley is wondering, "Where am I in this picture?" Poor fellow. You will be there next year.
Ohhh....ahhhhh!
Next lap -- PaPaw's! We were so happy to have PaPaw with us and to honor him on Father's Day, too! PaPaw plays with the boys during all of their waking hours and works for me (his daughter) during all the others. He is certainly a wonderful father and grandfather who we love and appreciate very much!
